I used the Duetz to get things close then used the JD 300 with the tiller and then the plow to do the final grading. I think it turned out pretty good. Now to seed it. Man grass seed is pricey!
Looks very neat and tidy.

Much nicer today, about 10° cooler than the last two days it's 94° at 5:15 pm.
Gave me time to see what Andrew was up to, new tires for his loader.
This shows some more of his equipment and the castle plus some work done with the new tires installed.

Shop tomorrow with the grandson at 10am for an hr, then home to get the sand around the pool. Then the Duetz is off to a buddy's house for a few days Wednesday.

Does anybody ELSE here have a sense of 'deja vu' or maybe "de-jammed foo" about all the stuck, rusted bolts and stuff and general sidetracking they have to monkey with, JUST to get the loader going...
And then I'm having flashbacks to the movie, CARS, with the "little" bobcat moving tires. Reminds me of "Guido"!

He does get bit sidetracked now and then (read as most of the time) but it's always fun to watch the creative methods he finds to resolve the issues he encounters.
It was interesting how stuck those bolts were and that he included it in a video titled tires for the loader. He did find a nice solution to getting them out and he mentioned a follow up video on why he removed the ROPs.
It was interesting seeing how a regular tire service company changed out those tires opposed to heavy equipment used at mining sites.
Yeah, agree on his choice for moving the old tires especially with the equipment he has on hand.
I think he enjoys showing off his "other" machines, knowing he's got at least four or five excavators most with thumbs. Not to mention a Petty bone and a couple fork lifts.
Still you have to hand it to the little skid steer for getting the job done, I think it was his first.

The cars movies and the after movies like planes were awesome!
Got done with the Duetz today, fixed the bucket loader, dumped the sand around the pool and it's ready for the trip to my buddies tomorrow.
Then the grandson decided he liked the gateway to Hades lights in the hot tub.....................

I didn't know this was the same guy. I watched when he dug and blasted out for the back side of that shop.
Why Why Why! would you ruin a hood on a 70 IH truck like that?
😪Yeah one of those tires cost more than my hot tub and pool combined.
Didn't he build that shop out of shipping containers?

Someone sent me a link this morning to a social media site that took way too much time. I wrote back and said don't ever do that again. LOL!!
One of the posts had a sign for consideration, it sort of fit a recent theme. I cleaned it up for posting here.

Oh I have seen that one for sure Don.
The (step) grandkid and I have been getting the dirt-bikes ready for riding. He's a hoot and just as knutts as my wife and I are. 🤣 Having fun in the hot tub and pool.
I haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing yet. LOL.........
I didn't have to pay him, but he tore the moldy drywall off the walls from the poop backup we had because he was "energetic" at the time so I gave him a job. Yes Nana made me get him a mask. I did flash $10 at him, then he caught me saying if he got it all done it was $20. DANG IT my big mouth!
Between fixing bikes and paying him I'm gonna go broke!
That's ok, he wanted to come over and Nana loves that. So do I. We don't get to see him more than 3-4 times a year. So this week is a blessing to Kristen and myself.
Anyway here's the pics.....................
