Hey guys I just bought what I was told was a 1954 super A on the I.D to only thing you can make out is the serial number and idle speed, it does have the water pump on it so im assuming it's a late model 54 with the c123 block. but it has a set of 2 leavers behind the shifter that are not hooked to anything, just curious is yall have seen these or know what they are for. And I was also curious on what this gauge was used for, was it hydraulic pressure or hydraulic temperature.

Gauge is for hyd. temp. Don't have a clue on the levers. If you're on FaceBook, there are several great Farmall pages on there, and someone may know. If you're not, with your permission, I can copy and paste that pic on a couple pages, and maybe someone will know.
Guessing for a region specific implement. Where are you generally located, and do you know if it was a local tractor, from when new..??

Thank you, and yes you have my permission to copy and paste im not on face book, and I'm located in NC, I'm not sure if it was a local from when new or not.
Well, it didn't take long to get answer..!! Those are for the 2-way plows they made for them. I copied and pasted one of the responses... "Those levers are used to pick which side of the left hand and right-hand plow you want to drop to use."
One responder wants to buy them if you have no use for them. He's been looking for a set. I told him I'd tell you, and if you want to sell them, I'll get his phone number, and you 2 can work that out.

@DJ54 the person you are trying to help has not been a member for 15 days, and does not have 15 posts ....so you won't be able to communicate with him directly, which means that you would have to exchange phone numbers on the open forum. For your own protection against scammers, it is not advised.
Thanks for the heads up, I just posted on FB to see what those levers for. He never mentioned selling them, don't even know if he would. But, one of the guy's on FB was the one that was interested in buying.
No hurry I guess, he's been looking for several years, LOL...
Yeah, not real crazy about having someone post their phone number on an open forum...

Thank you for the help and information DJ54, at this time I'm not looking to sell them as I'm gonna use this tractor for garden work, I'm looking for implements now. But In the future If I don't need them I'll post back here and see if he still wants them. Thank you again!!
