I know I had another article on mower and mower belt driving belt
for the craftsman 944.601480
but I still cant find a diagram online with all the parts broken down.. it redirects me to a 601880 model not 480
but
the mower doesn't engage I took the clutch right apart plugged it in had 12 volts to the cluch it doesn't move up I guess that's how it enages forces right out... I tried a socket in there see if it would stick
nothing..
and yes I get 12 volts to it..

so I guess I need a new part... what is the part number etc.. as my local lawn mower store cant look up Sears.. tells me goto sears to ask them... well since Sears has closed up shop and is no longer in business its kinda hard...
what be the equlaivant part since I guess huskivarna uses same parts etc

I didn't see a 944601480 IPL but a 944601280 IPL shows 400008 Clutch Electric. Worth investigating.

The clutch draws a few amps of current so sparking would be seen.

Can you provide the engine Brand, Model & Type/Spec.
Maybe I can find a US equivalent model?

I thought I might be able to match up by comparing my schematic numbers, but it only listed one other Canadian version that doesn't have a manual available either. I was expecting a dozen or more models.

Far as I can tell-
It's a GT (schematic shows tiller safety loop)
Pre carb fuel solenoid.
15A charging system.
44" deck.

What kind of transaxle? Hydro, 3X2, 5 speed???

I not sure why I don't get notifcations again ugh

so I was testing it.. with charger it sparts purple bright light when I touch the wire and nothing happens just the sparks

engine is a dual cylinder B&S engine
id have to get the type spec later.. its the old style crap carb cuz every season I gotta change the **** diaphragm on the fuel pump cuz I always have to run in Choke mode

its no hydro static.. its a 5 speed I not at home but im sure of it.. I replaced the drive belt that was a *****
ill take pics tomorrow

I don't list any GT 6000's with a Briggs in my list. Just Kohler.
I may have a similar tractor listed, but not know if it's GT, LT etc.

What's the engine Model & Type?
It should be something like this if a Briggs-
42X7XX-XXXX-XX
The "Code" is a date code. YYMMDDzz
