Let me try this again (3rd time...)...
Did you check for positive voltage on the white injector wires to ground with ignition on?
That voltage should be on there 100% of the time. Its the ground connection on the other side that pulsates.
Tractorpete I'm sorry i did not see the post earlier i must have gotten caught up in the noid light This undoubtedly would have told me the problem was right where i was cleaning connections from the get go without having to borrow a noid light!

NP thriftyjr, I am glad that you got it going.

I also religiously use dielectric grease on all contact in connectors, around engine, ECU, sensors, safety switches, etc (pretty much everywhere!). On my tractor and all autos.

Its counter-intuitive that something non-conductive is going to promote better connections but it does and helps cut down on corrosion of the contacts.

I don't remember what brand it was right off hand it was pretty slick though, even though it didn't light up. One of the mechanics at my JD dealership had one that he let me borrow which was pretty nice of him. I'm just wondering now which electrical component it was that stopped it from working. I should have cleaned them all one by one and tried to start it but i saw how dirty they were and my OCD kicked in :)
