Didn't know were to post this but a house was for sale up the Road when I spotted this little Toro. It is a 8-25 has Briggs 8 horse a 25 inch deck. Took it home checked carb and cleaned. Had no gas and battery was dead. Put gas in it and a battery from the Sierra in it and runs mint deck and everything works seat has a little crack in it. Was wondering if others would take a free road side tractor? This is my second of the seaso

Once again, you just can't beat free.

Use it as a small trim mower if you don't sell it for a profit.

Where in MA, I never see stuff like that, John

This is so funny because last year here in NJ about this time of year I picked up the EXACT SAME MODEL, on the side of the road with a similar sign on it. I had no ramps in the truck so I lifted in alone, but it was well worth it, needed a battery oil change and a few adjustments.
GOOD FIND!!

I did leave the push mower, and I live in Boylston Ma. Got me thinking how many people sell there house and have mowers, motorcycles, etc and can't bring it w/ them and would give stuff away or take low offers to get ride of it. I did see a dumping cart and old motorcycles on the side of garage and am wondering what's up w/ those.

Hi! I see your house is for sale!

What you got free or cheap that you're not going to take with you when you move?

;)

Great score, here's a thought, find someone who is out of work or just down and give or loan it to them to keep up their yard. Karma goes a long way and friends are always good to have. Then your enjoyment factor goes way up!

If it's free, it's for me!:fing32:

Here's how it goes.. I drive around alot and alway's try to take different ways to get some where and alway's look in the sides or back of houses for tractor's in the woods. People usually just don't fix them, then they buy a new one.
If there trying to sell a house they want to clean up and the new owner doesn't want a old abaned tractor that may need a lot of work.
You ask "what are you doing with it" and I bet 80 percent of the time they'll give you it or ask "what would you give me for it". Im sure it will work on houses not for sale to. Im not scared to ask" maybe you could rake there yard in exchange?
