I am very familiar with this one, my dad has the 1973 Whirlwind 19. '76 was the last year for the original Whirlwind so you pretty much have the beginning and end models. The '76s are identified by the Toro logo on the shroud, the shroud wrapping around the recoil case, and a slightly different decal on the control panel.

Also, you're missing the drag shield assembly. And the front wheels are the correct ones for push models.

Toro also either built or sold this deck to John Deere as well. I had this exact mower with the same engine (no decorative engine shroud) but in John Deere trim.

I had about a dozen of these Toro mowers as a kid (got most of them for free - curb finds on garbage day), most of which needed nothing more than a tuneup to get running.
