Some of you are lucky to be finding some of these old machines. 3-4 years ago there were tons of old Snappers and 2T Toros around here. Now you are lucky to find one.

 

Snappers were built 2 hrs from me but finding them is very hard to do. Especially the older ones. Cast decks are super hard to come by. I amsure there are lots of old Snappers out there under houses or in barns but locating them is a chore.

BDM do you see many Yazoos out in Miss as they were built there?

 

There is one locally for $10 and running. Was a SP model but has been converted to push. It has the V 21 on the front so i know its the cast deck. Has the metal red side discharge chute. I didn't know these were that scarce.

 

can you still get the gull wing blades for these cast deck models?

atfirst glance the snapper sp system looks very intimadating but its actually very easy to repair

This is the steel deck mower I want to sacrafice for the cast build. Will these handles and shift rod swap over to the cast deck with no problems?

Depends some cast deck models had a different shifter with reverse.
