Hey guys. SO I just bought myself a John Deere 717a Zero turn commercial grade mower with the 7 Iron 48 inch deck. I have an old Powerflow unit sitting here yet from my LX170 mower, along with a MC519 pull behind cart. I can fabricate a bracket to bolt the cart to the back of the zero turn easy enough, I am just wondering if my old powerflow unit will fit on my 717a 48 inch mower deck. The powerflow unit I have is model (PWRFLO 48MOW) and serial: M00PFCG070284*

here's a few photos of the powerflo unit, and then the pulley on my deck that I'd need to add the top pulley to. Any thoughts on this?

If you have a lathe and can weld, you can probably fab a pulley to bolt on there. I've made a couple of pulleys that go on the spindle, to run a Gravely blower on a Snapper deck.

This is a link to the first of a couple of posts about how I made mine.

The powerflo you are showing doesn't list as being for a 7 iron deck, but I don't see a 7 iron deck powerflo listed in the guide at all. Probably would need to Adapt it as the 7 irons are a much thicker deck than the ones it is designed for.

yeah, I know they made a powerflow for the 717a, as I've seen them, and even seen parts diagrams for parts but can't buy an entire unit anywhere. maybe instead trying to find a Unicorn, I should look for an aftermarket type of unit to mount on the side of my 7 Iron deck?????
