So, I have now replaced the breaker points and set to .020, still no spark. Have yet to put multi metre on anything, but what I am finding weird is after tractor sat running fine for a couple minutes, I hop in, push peddle to reverse and she dies loosing spark instantly. Any suggestion?
I should add, it has two coils not original single coil. I do plan to re wire entire tractor but would like to get it running for the rest of the winter, I checked the attachment lever switch and it works, I can't see the seat switch anywhere. Tomorrow I will put the multi metre to it and see where power is getting too. Just want to see if the puddle might have a switch.
