My name is Brian, and I reside in the southwest of the great(est) state of Virginia. God has blessed me with 11 acres of property on the side of a small mountain, about one of which is grassy area (well, it ain't much of a lawn, for sure, but it sure ain't woods!).
I've been trying for several months to decide and then locate a garden tractor/riding lawn mower to help me manage the grass and, eventually, a garden. So far, I've failed miserably.
Lately, however, as I was researching ANOTHER riding lawn mower, I became aware of the quality and durability of the made-in-the-80s model 200s, 300s and on by John Deere. So I've found some on Craig's List and I'm really excited about what this machine can do, what with all the attachments that thing has for it.
I do have some questions about this model and this site appears to be the "go-to" place. But, as requested, I will hold off until you guys/gals decide if you really want me as a member.
In closing, I'm reminded of that great theologian, Groucho Marx, who is credited with the following: "I would never be a member of any club that would have me."
