can you find out the model number of the deck?

 

Skyhorse, I’m not sure what your part number is for but on the Cub Cadet parts site I looked on it shows 3 different SLT-1554 listings. 1 with a Command engine and 2 with the Courage engine. The separation beween those 2 is 2007 and older and 2008 and newer. Interestingly all 3 listings show the mower deck belt as 954-0642. I’ve used V-Belt Supply numerous times for Cub Cadet belts with great results but wherever you get your belt it would appear that the 954-0642 is the belt you need. I have a 2006 SLT-1554 with Courage engine and I use the 954-0642 belt. Good luck.

Hi Ray2, Thank You for replying. The only thing I can find on the Deck is a label of a diagram explaining the proper way of putting the belt on. There is a number on the label 122265 AC. When googled you gets belts for MTD and Cub Cadet mowers but has different numbers. Thanks Again.

CUB CADET PARTS DIAGRAMS, CUB CADET SLT1554 TRACTOR COMMAND ENGINE 13AK11CK709 13AK11CK710 13AK11CK712. It is the 13AK11CK709. When googled you get the Cub Cadet site and it gives you the belt size 954-0642. So I ordered this belt size and will find out. Thanks Again..
