I'm building a chisel plow/cultivator to pull behind my ATV. I made a clevis hitch for it and it works well for using a rear blade and pulling a single bottom plow through the garden. I want to add a chisel plow/cultivator to the list so that I have an intermediate step between the mold board plow, and my rear tine tiller. I loved the way the plow turned the ground over for me, but it made for some pretty rough work with the tiller. I also would like to be able to lay out my rows and cultivate my popcorn/sweetcorn.
Anyway, I have it all sketched out with one exception. The sweeps and points are available locally and are made to fit either plain old S tines or Danish S tines. I need an idea of what the dimensions of the S tine are, espeially the cross section, the right steel to mount it to. It looks like maybe it's 2" wide with a 1/4" radious on the ends, but I'm not sure. Its a 30 min drive into town (and not towards work) to be able to go check the dimensions, and I'd like to pick up the steel in the next few days.
Thanks,
Mark
