I'm working towards building a house but I'm concerned about the shape the economy is in. Right now I can get a decent price on concrete block but I don't know if inflation will cause it to be more expensive in the future or if other factors may conspire to make it hard to get later on. I'd like to buy enough concrete block to build my house but it will probably have to be stored outside and get rained on for a year or maybe even two years. Will that cause me any problems when I go to build the house? FWIW I will be building the house during the dry season so they will get a chance to dry out a bit before and during construction.
