Adding 485 Hydraulic fluid

I recently aquired a Case 485. It came with a front-end loader which I had to replace all the hyd. hoses. Naturally, now I need to add fluid to bring my level back up, but I am not absolutely sure where to add the fluid. I see a threaded plug with a square head located at the rear of the tractor, just above the pto shaft. Is this the right place to add, and if not, where is the correct place?

This section is a garden tractor section. There is a big case tractor section that would be a better area to ask your question.

Thank you, casey 448. Those two threads told me exactly what I needed to know. I am new to this forum.. Can you tell me how to find the big case tractor section?

At the top right of your screen you'll see a black bar with several choices in it. Home, forum, gallery, classifieds, etc. Click on forum. Once that screen opens up scroll down to The barn/big boys. That's the big tractor section. Go down further and there are also compact, sub-compact, and garden tractor sections.

Many brands are listed in each section. You'd have to choose Case.
