62c Deck / Powerflow Question ? -- X485

I was installing my new powerflow blower/pulley/etc today and got to the point of installing the right rear baffle. I noticed the bolt hole closest to the discharge opening was not lining up properly. After a little more looking, it appears the shell of my mower deck is bent in that area. I don't think it's a huge issue, but it does appear to be creating a gap between the powerflow boot and the edge of the deck. I should be able to drill a hole in the baffle plate/deck to tighten that up. I'm thinking I can fab some kind of rubber flap/cover that will fill in the void space (the picture where I have my finger pointed).

Another item I noticed was the powerflow housing seems to sit lower than I remember on my 54c deck on a GX255. I don't have any pictures to justify that, but it seems like it. I don't think this will pose any problems either, by the time I'm running at a normal cutting height and have the leaf blowout kit installed. I don't see any way to adjust the height since the 'fingers' on the boot need to slide above/below the groove inside the deck. I have a set of high lift blades ready to roll too.

I guess I'm just looking for some feedback if anyone has seen this before? I can't imagine hitting something hard enough to bend the deck....

Does anything else look out of whack?

Haha. I doubt it would be very easy to find a deck like that which is not bent in some way. The tractor weighs 800-900lbs and the deck is about 250. Yeah, the deck is gonna bend before anything else when someone has an accident. Don't feel bad about beating it with a sledgehammer either. One of the 54C decks I had, needed a porta power to push it back so I could use it.

Looks like the front part isn't on right when you rotated it. Does the rear pin line up with the hole where the deck gauge wheel is. I don't know if you can zoom in on the PF in the pic to see what it looks like, it's the only one I have. The other deck pics are the plate your talking about and the other is the anti blowout kit.

I was able to bend the deck back into place far enough to get the baffle plate holes to line up properly. The Powerflow seems to swing into place pretty well. Too much snow on the ground to test it out now
