Has anyone here had to work on any of these 4 cycle trimmers? I have a Troybilt in my garage now that is a no go. The carb is perfect, strong spark, when I pulled the spark plug to do a compression test, the cylinder is full of oil. I have no experience with these 4 cycle trimmers, and personally I think they are junk and don't recommend them at least until the technology gets a little better in them. My father in law had a craftsman 4 cycle trimmer that burnt a hole in the piston in 3 months. He got his money back and bought a Stihl. Any help from anyone here would be great. Even just an explanation on how these work would benefit. Thanks!

I have a Stihl FS90r 4mix weed wacker and a KM130r 4mix kombi power unit. I would not trade these 4 mix units for all the 2 strokes out there. They always start and I can run at part throttle and do more work than any of my old 2 strokes could at full throttle. the 90r is 4yrs old and the 130 is going on 3 with nary an issue.
