Starting to have some issues with this mower. The lift seems to be going out on me and from what I've read, the lift actuators are plastic and cheap. But my main concern is the noise it makes in reverse. What I describe as a loud scream. Is it my hydro going out? Low on oil? Where do I even check the hydro oil level?

I had the same issue. If you look at the front of the transaxle, you'll see where Husqvarna used long, self tapping bolts to attach the front of the transaxle to an angle bracket. These screws strip out and loosen or fall out, allowing the transaxle to rotate lightly and the cooling fan contacts the belt. The cure is to find two bolts long enough to pass through the transaxle and bracket and use washers, lock washers and nuts. Once you do that you'll have no problems with it again. The plastic part on the lift is available from the dealer. I've had mine since 2009 with no issues on the lift.

My lift was slowing down and stopping on the way up ,the very first year, 2011, I got it , until I started to put some grease on it . Now I just put a dab of grease on the lift motor screw drive every time I service the deck. No problems with it since I started doing that.
