I think a little high! But someone might buy them just to get the JD green and yellow off them! :fing20: :sidelaugh :sidelaughand also :MTF_wel:

Thay need to much work and he needs to much for them.

TWO ht20s, one with a Johnson loader - don't think that's high at all

if he weren't 1500 miles north of me, i'd be interested

granted there's some work to be done but sure seems like a lot for the coin
You need to put $1500 to $2,000 in to them.

New parts add up fast.

not sure what parts you see they will need to add up to 1500 to 2000

muffler, U joint for blower, welding in a skin in the loader bucket - and obviously a good paint job, but anything i pick up i'm going to be going thru

i'm sure they'll need some work but just the johnson loader, working, 2 stg snowblower

heck, some of the items could go on ebay and bring back some coin - i'd have no use for the 3 pt hitch and back blade or the snowplow blade, the ignition coils, and the engines for that matter - i'd rather pickup a new honda twin (saw a 18 hp on small engine warehouse's web for $950)

but you've been collecting longer than i, so i suspect you're seeing something i'm not

Well there is over 1000 there.

We just put over $600 in the 1886-04 to just to get the eaton back up to %100. Thats part of whats into it now.

you're counting what i'd spend, as my preference, on a new engine - the seller is indicating they both run with no indication of needing engines - i don't think a calculation including my preference is valid - i'd only drop a new engine in it as i'd want to build one back to new. Plus some of the expense of new engine would be recaptured with the sale of the old engine or even engines as i doubt i'd have any need to keep either - but again, that's just my preference

i assume any used tractor is going to need some work, and after all they are used - but there are two of them, so there is one to cannabilize

I just think with the loader & attachments, the seller isn't that high - plus that quote is in CDN, USD = 3800

There is a HT18 for sale on Allentown PA craigslist for I think $1500, with a 3point and johnson loader that needs valve work on one side. I will try to find the link.

Just my opinion:

The one in PA is worth far more than he is asking. The loader alone can easily top $1500 if it was on eBay.

The two in New Brunswick, Canada, with all the attachments might be slightly high, but not by much.
