It appears that I have wider rims on my 1250 than my 1200. I have 23x10.50x12 Deestones on my 1250. The 1200 has 23x8.50x 12 tires that need replacing. Measuring the rims with the tires on, it appears the 1250 has about an 8-1/2" rim and the 1200 has 7-1/2" rim. I would like to put either superlugs or power tracs on it. Will a 10.50 fit the narrower rim? Can you fit a 26" tire under the fenders?

Look around and you'll find a couple of the 8.5 wheels cheap. If you go 12x12x26 I would get the Trupowers, they are about 1/2" shorter than the Super Lugs and are alround a better tire for the same money, shop around.

I just sold four wheels with tires that you are looking for for $25, some guys give them away.

Seems like 26" ers would be tight. The Deestones are cheap but they have somewhat small lugs. I want to make the 1200 beefier thats why I thought 26". Thanks, I will look for some 8.5. What size are you running on your Avatar pic?

If you look around you'll pick up a set of wheels cheap. I put 26x12x12's on my 1282 they're a little tight but they fit just fine. Mine are deestone's and they are 8 ply got them off ebay for 150 bucks for the rear's and 50 for the front's. The front's are 4 ply. For the money I can't tell a differance in the lug size. I looked at almost every maker of tires before I bought these. Hope the info. helps. Junior

Thanks Junior, it does help. The Deestones I have in 23 x10.50x12 have noticeably smaller lugs that the super lugs. Not sure why. What size do you have on the front? Not sure if your 1282 has the same size rear fenders as my 1200. Are your rear rims 12x 12?

My front's are 16x6.50x8's. And my rear wheels are 12x10. Hope this helps. Junior

Sorry, I should have read the other tire post first, would have saved you some typing . I will have to get a pic of my tires. I have the deestones front and rear on my 1250. They just dont look as beef as the ones in that posts pics.

Maybe because you may have 4 or 6 ply that might make a differance I'm not sure though. I don't mind typing there's nothing better to do anyway. Besides I love to talk cub talk I could do it all day just ask my wife. My rear's are 8 ply and the front's are 4 ply. I compared these to carlisle and could hardly tell a differance, the only thing I saw was the deestones were 8 ply and the carlisle were 4 ply. And the carlisle's were 50 bucks more each. Not worth it to me to spend the extra money for just a name. I guess it all comes down to what you want to spend and the look your going for. Good luck with what ever you decide. If you have anymore questions let know and I'll try to help, Junior
