I have been attempting to do some research on parts availability for the Iseki brand of tractors. Some of the information I am finding is older information. How much legwork is involved in finding basic parts for these tractors these days? I don't need to be able to walk into a dealer to buy parts, but can most common replacement items be had with a little time on the web and a few phone calls?

I am contemplating purchasing a G174, which is why I am questioning this.

Thanks!!

Stuff can be found. It just depends on what kind of parts you are looking for. More often than not you can find what you need online or even local. The trick is finding the part numbers. I have ordered glow plugs from Texas only to find I could have bought the them down the street but since I didn't have the cross reference numbers I ended up getting the Texas ones.

Now if you want a full tear down and rebuild kit I am not sure how easy that will be. If you need rear brakes they too can be found but one source said they are hard to find and often you have to send yours in to be re-lined. I was able to find a replacement water pump because it is used on many other models / brands.

So I would argue most small parts can be found but unlike some of the more common / popular brands it may take more time, more digging and definitely some phone calls and emails.

Try Amazon, and eBay. Also Sam's Bolens and I think West Texas tractor parts. I also got stuff from a guy in Northern Michigan but can't remember the name.
