On my 430 I've got a leak coming out of the hydro cooler lines right where they go in the radiator. The short 5 or 6" flexible hose at the end of the hard line right at the radiator looks to be failing. Looking at a parts diagram jd just calls it a hose. No part #. It looks just like regular fuel line with a hose clamp at each end. Can I just use regular reinforced 1/4" or whatever size it is fuel line to replace it? I haven't taken it apart yet so I don't know size yet. Not sure if this helps, but the hose is #18 on the oil cooler and radiator diagram for an 88 430.

The type of hose is called lock on hoseor push lock hose. McMaster carr sells it. Your local hydraulic store might also have it

Thanks for the info. I got a piece of hose from a local hydraulic company, Power Drives. I explained to them what I needed it for and they gave me a low pressure hydraulic hose. It is rated at 300psi and has a temp rating over 300F. Best part is they just gave me a foot for free.
