Don't know if you guys remembered this from the old site, but I thought I would share it again on here.
I see a lot of guys talking about snow cabs, and how they need to reach through velco or open doors to lift and lower the blower.
What I did was add a shackle from a trailer. I put a longer bolt in a factory hole on the blower frame (remember, this is the Berco unit). I used the actuator from my JBJr since I had to take it off anyway. Works pretty well, and no need to open any doors.
This image shows the principal of how it lifts up and down.
And the reason for the shackle is so there is some free play for the blower to move with the un-even driveway.
The only difference between my vision :bonk: , and how things actually turned out is that rather than the actuator pushing back on the shackle, I had to mount it on the bottom, so it pulls to lift.
