Having owned 4 Tractor Brands, they were all good. Allis, MF, Kubota and now new Mahindra. I am very happy with my purchase.

My turn signals are not working and local dealer just said bring in - You have 5 year warranty. It is important you buy from a reputable dealer.

Frankly I wouldn't buy a tractor from a third world manufacturer.
Better to stick with Case/Massey-Ferguson/Kubota/John Deere etc......
For the sake of accuracy, and for anyone who references this thread in the future, many manufacturers outsource materials and components for their tractors, JD included. For example, I used a 2520 once that had the factory Deere loader, and stamped right into the frame was "MADE IN CHINA". Not necessarily a bad thing seeing as the tractor did what I asked of it, but still worth noting.

I maintain that a product is only as good as the dealer who sells it, and in this persons case, the dealer really dropped the ball.

I have never owned a tractor with HST but have rented or borrowed them. Used to have an older AC tractor with standard trans. And mowed a woman property with her Satoh S650G many times. Had a loader too. So.. On a new import is the HST better or more value than a stick?
I choose manual gear shifting due to large dif. in tractor price. I think HST is better especially for FEL work with constant forward/reversing operation and adds more value for resale since purchase price is higher.

Does Your state have a lemon law, maybe something to look into.Sometimes things happen with faulty parts or castings. In the end your making payments on a tractor you can't use.I would go as far as to get a loner from the dealer or a lawyer, something has to give.
