We went to a local fund-raiser for the Relay for Life/cancer Survivors yesterday @ a local school.

Had a car show registration/judgeng/entertainment--all proceeds went to the Relay, after expenses were deducted. My bride is a co-chair of this event each year--as one of our close friend s passed a few years ago from pancreatic cancer, and she's also a survivor...Anyway--drug me along--
My 'assigned' duties were help put up tents/tables, etc, --then (I volunteered here)--hehe..Help park the cars!!

P.S.--Will post more pictures later--we are headed over to my daughter's for "Mom's morning out brunch"---I forgot all about it--oops..:sorry1:

Thanks for all the great pics! I hope you guys had a nice crowd and raised some good money. I really liked the 1931 Essex. I just love that style of car with wooden spoke wheels! The Sheriff Deputies rifle looks to be a Ruger All-Weather Mini-14 (stainless matte finish with synthetic stock). Of course he has it tricked out with a pressure sensitive barrel mounted night light and some sort of (probably) Red Dot scope. Cool! :fing32:

That yellow VW Bug brought back some memories. Over the years (when I was single) I owned (at different times) a 1963 Bug, and two different 1966 Bugs. I had loads of fun with those cars. :fing32:
