Well I only ever saw 1 5238 that lawnboy95 owns and I only saw a handful of 8250 and 8251.

I dunno, they made 6279's for 2 model years. My 8250X they only made 1 year like my 8234EX's. I'd have to say anything with an X at the end would be the rarest :not_worth
My Monark Majestic R-18-52 Rotomatic is the rarest I have, but it's not a Lawn-Boy. It is a 2 stroke though.

Without official production #'s, it doesn't really mean anything that your's was made one year as opposed to the other being made two... They are both rare, let's leave it at that...

Both are very nice! The Sunbeam shares some really unique features with my 1954 Lawn-Boy! Very cool and unique!
