Lets post what Lawn-Boy's that we think are the "rarest". I'll start us off:
-All Bicentenial Lawn-Boy's
-All International Harvester Lawn-Boy's
-All Bicentenial Lawn-Boy's
-All International Harvester Lawn-Boy's
1996 3 speed self propelled with 5 hp f engine. Black tank & white wheels based on the lawnboy factory photo I've located.I don't recall hearing of or seeing a 10651 myself.
What makes you say that?Lanwboys 5238, 8250, and 8251 are the rarest

What makes you say that?
Ok, those can be added to the list too.:fing32:Well I only ever saw 1 5238 that lawnboy95 owns and I only saw a handful of 8250 and 8251.
I got a 22261 :OThe 1969 8228e
The Commercial M series
The 22261 3 speed commercial
The promotional model R7070,8070
The 22241 3 commercial
The 22240 commercial push
Any Bricktop commercial
The bricktop selfpropelled
Just to name a few
Here you go Look up....My vote is for the 6279 commercial. F engine with non-staggered deck and side discharge between the front and rear wheels. Partstree has the deck available and I've been thinking of making one. I think it would cost over $1000 to do so, however, so I won't. Anybody ever seen one?
Wow. How long have you had it? It appears to have seen better days...I posted mine on ebay today, just to see how much interest is in this model, likely will not sell it, as I am not giving it away. As I have set a reserve, because I'am fond of the old girl myself. Here is the link

Without official production #'s, it doesn't really mean anything that your's was made one year as opposed to the other being made two... They are both rare, let's leave it at that...I dunno, they made 6279's for 2 model years. My 8250X they only made 1 year like my 8234EX's. I'd have to say anything with an X at the end would be the rarest :not_worth
My Monark Majestic R-18-52 Rotomatic is the rarest I have, but it's not a Lawn-Boy. It is a 2 stroke though.
Both are very nice! The Sunbeam shares some really unique features with my 1954 Lawn-Boy! Very cool and unique! These things are all coming out of the woodwork....http://cgi.ebay.com/VERY-RARE-lawn-...2916&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:10|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50
Looks similar to Timberwolfs LB, wish he would ship.http://cgi.ebay.com/1957-SUNBEAM-OR...553b&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66:2|65:10|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50
:ditto:How in the world has that thing gone unused for all this time? Just crazy
