My 16G Pro which I use for snowblowing, mowing and tilling is down for the time being. With over 150" of snow so far this winter and a 200' driveway using the backup 24" Airens walk behind really takes some time.

I need the motor asembly Gravely Part # 21509800, this is the electric motor for the hydraulic lift. I would even entertain obtaining the complete assembly Gravely part # 08725000.

New or used I really need to get this piece of equipment back in operation. The information I am receiving is that this part will not be available for shipment until around March 5, 2014.

Somebody, somewhere has to have this motor, which is why I'm reaching out here for some help locating this part. If anybody knows of a lead where I can obtain this motor please forward me the information. My e-mail is jforton@centurytel.net.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi John and welcome to MTF. :MTF_wel2:

Someone should be along who can help you. In the meantime have you also posted asking for help on the Yahoo Gravely site? There are a couple of members there that post everyday pretty much. They seek and re-sell Gravely items.

Given the urgency of your search I would suggest posting there as well.

Good luck. Stay warm.

Jack's has most everything and service is friendly and quick. You might also try Richard's Lawn and Garden. They sell new parts like Jack's but also deal in some used parts, too. That motor is pretty pricey. Call Richard's to see if they have a good used one.

From what I've read, that pump/motor is used in a lot of boat applications to raise and trim motors and drives. You might try looking in that area for a better price.

Gravely is famous for making up parts they buy form other sources. My favorite example is the receptacle for the 44 gallon grass collector. It's $254.00 if you buy it from Gravely. It's just a 44 gallon Rubbermaid trash can. You can get them from Amazon for less than 50 bucks or Home Depot for just over 50 bucks!

Jacks and Richards do not have the part nor do they have a used one. Approx availabe ship date is 05MAR14.

Looking at the motor it has a sticker that says

OILOYNE

636386
108AM10-CL-IVT
AP8120P

Will try to look that up. The winter here in N.W. Michigan is something else this year. If it weren't for the hunting and fishing here, I would head back south where I spent many years during my career in the Navy.

Will also post something on the Yahoo gravely boards. Thanks for all the suggestions and tips fellows.

That unit is extremely similar to a tilt and trim unit

I may be able to source for you as I have direct access to these parts through work

What failed on it I could probably save you cash if you just need parts

Let me know!

Thank you

Thanks for all the tips guys. The electirc motor has failed, I troube shot the switch and it checks out for current flow and resistence. I removed the motor and switch and ran it to a hot 12V battery the motor will run very slow and I am able to grab ahold of the piece that mates to the hydraulic pump and hold it still while the motor whines and the piece does not move.

Went back out to my pole barn and re-read the sticker on the motor and it says.

On the top is a small circle sticker that says.

Thanks for the leads, the marine application link that was sent looks very similar.

I'm really glad that I found this web page for all the help.

But you can't get it from Gravely. It is OOS - Permanently for the looks of things. Gravely is just like any other outfit. They take their cost and triple it. They have to. Don't believe me? Take Business Economics 101 at your local college.

Did you call Commercial Intertech?

Nice! Thanks for following up. Please do post pics and part numbers if this works out. There are several of us here with the same elec over hydro setup.

Who were you able to find this from?

The info on a replacement might be real handy in the future. My 18G has the electric hydro pump. But the good news is, some of these pumps are 20 years old and I think this is the first time I've heard of a problem with one of these pumps. Jason
