It's going well, have 320 feet covered with cr#2. I had another 21 ton come in on monday & got it spread yesterday, some cleanup on the edges yet to do. It rides pretty smooth. Gonna let it pack for a couple months, then put down several inches of cr#1.

looks good!
a 9ft drive is kind of narrow, but not too bad. our drive is maybe 10' wide for most of teh length, then widens closer to the house. even so it never gives me problems. heck, the highway dept only gives us 12 ft around here, and that is for 60+ mph! if someone can't handle a regular vehicle well enough to keep it on a 9' drive, they should seriously consider hiring a driver!

Using that filter fabric is a good idea. I used it on my 12' wide driveway and it held up to the house building traffic with no problems. Once a loaded concrete truck drove off the edge of the driveway and placed his right wheels on the grass shoulder to let another truck go by, and he almost tipped over sinking in the clay muck. My driveway is wider than the county road we live on! Figured with the entire family, except for Licorice, being girls ............................:hide:
