I'm not sure what your electrical may be because I'm not sure what all the wires, switches, and contacts I took apart and cleaned are called. I'll look at my model number when I get home on Sunday. Then maybe you can email the pdf directly to my email: digitaldaves@techemail.com. I didn't have an issue signing up, my issue was finding the right password to sign back in, lol. Maybe when I get the manual I can tell you what parts I cleaned up. It seemed to mostly be the switch directly under the steering column, in front of like the firewall. That is a safety switch that the engage/disengage rod moves when the blades are turned off and on.

I have a Gilson/MW GIL33183A that I need some electrical help from someone who really understands what and why. All the electrical schematics I've found either are for the wrong tractor, they're not very clear, or whatever. First of all, I think it's a 1975 model, 16 hp, stick shift, electric (gear)drive starter, B&S motor. I've been using it for some time but recently had some starter problems, replaced the starter but must have fiddled some connection somewhere. I'm assuming the PTO spring contact shorts out the mag to keep it from running when the lever is engaged; but the clutch pedal must do the opposite, or something, to allow it to start only when the pedal is all the way down. There's a light switch with a position for the lights to operate when the engine is off, and one for when the engine is running, and off in the middle. There's a PTO engaged light. I don't know if the ignition switch is the original. I forgot to mention there's an alternator built into the flywheel, and one position of the light switch feeds from the white wire coming from there. Here's the symptom of what's wrong--the only way it will start is to move the PTO lever to where the spring makes contact. Any ideas, or where I can get a really good wiring diagram? Oh, I forgot to mention--there are two spring contacts for the PTO; one contacts a bar from the solenoid to actuate to PTO light, the other might ground out the mag?
