John, actually I don't know about this 2007 model, but I know you're Firebird had way more leg room up front than that 98 mustang I had and I'm only 5'10", they just did'nt allow much front seat room, hopefully the newer models are better in that.

I'm sure it's actually far better than the F-Chicken... As much as I love the F Bodies.. The interiors in those GM's were atrocious and I am not just making a generalization I've had hands on experiance with every generation of F Body ever made.. Fords may be a little slower, but they got the interior thing down PAT!

I love the new mustang body, then again, I've loved each generation. Not my favorite color I am like you and like a metallic red more than a flame or torch red. But that's a sharp ride none the less! As far as winter goes.. Throw two bags of kitty litter in the trunk (in garbage bags) and get a set of 17" steel rims with Blizzack tires and you will go anywhere any FWD/4WD will go.

I test drove a 2006 Mustang and I could not fit in it. There is something about my long legs and my head brushing against the ceiling that made it uncomfortable for me. I am just to tall for that style car no matter who makes them. Sporty 2 door cars with low roofs and no leg room just do not cut it when you are 6'6" tall.

I think I keep my old 73 Duster 340 as that car had a acceptable seat track travel and the old Valiant's roof on it. Sure the Duster isn't as areo smooth as the new car but that old 340 was a fast car and I fit in it.

Congrats. That is sweet! I have to say i'm jealous as ****. I want one so bad I can taste it. Your'e a little too far away for a ride, so you better post ALOT of pics!

Have you driven one like it yet (a GT). If not, I cant wait to hear your thoughts and opinions on it. You're gonna absolutely love this car, I just know you will.

its got 5500 miles on it.... its the premium model - not that i need premium.. but its got lots of goodies in it... was owned by an older guy who traded it on an excursion... its a 1 owner car...


the only thing im not crazy about is the color.. given the choice... id go for candy apple red... this is torch red... but this car looks sweet...

the price seems great, i have a clean carfax and its ford certified so they offer 60,000 drive train warranty on it.. it still has the remaining 36,000 mile warranty...

any thoughts negative or positive?

im thinking of putting a refundable deposit on it.. and if it ever stops snowing.. ill get it saturday...

i agree. either that or a hood scoop would look perdy. i like red, but ford's bright red has been unapealing to me since about 97. before that it looked fine. maybe they changed the hue a little bit... i would keep searching if i were you. your going to end up paying a good chunk of change for it, you might as well get what you want.
