Thanks caseguy im glad someone is watching:snowing: ,I usually try to include both places in my posts its interesting how much feedback you get, good and bad.yes the info was right on the money so i had a fab shop build me two.:thanku: Thanks CNY Dave

The only blade that has the lift arm going OVER the front axle is the H-model and you don't need ANY adaptor plate to connect one of them.

And yes, there is more than one style of adaptor plate. One is a rectangle and another is also a rectangle but with one corner 45'd off.

I have mine off right now if you want I can lay it on the scanner and scan you an image that you can use for a template. PM me if you want to go that route.

I actually broke my lift shaft/rock shaft using the plow. You can see where it was repaired before and I broke it again. For some stupid reason I used the hole in the plate that is welded on to the bottom. I think that was the cause of my breakage? Now that I am thinking on it and looking at the sleeve hitch manual page above I have no idea which hole on my plate to use????? My plate does'nt match up with the ones in the diagram. (panic sets in)
CG2 any ideas on that?

I can't tell you as to how many versions of that plate have been issued by Case and Ingersoll over the years. At one time, if you bought a new plow blade, two different styles of plates came with it.

I also can't tell you as to how many versions of that manual there are because those manuals were updated as changes were made. It's possible that you have a different plate or that a PO has drilled an extra hole into it to try and get the plow blade to lift higher. I certainly don't understand why that extra chunk of metal was added on unless the tractor is a short wheelbase model and the lift link for a long wheelbase was used.

No need to panic, just use whatever hole gives you the appropriate amount of lift and movement. Besides, without an engine you won't notice any difference.:sidelaugh

Yeah that is what I tried and ended up with a deformed and then sheared lift shaft which may or may not have been related. I guesss I need to block up the blade and do some more figuring.

Casguytoo I looked in a dozen places and can find no refrence to the 'case glider' model. Is it rare? can I sell it for a zillion dollars? are parts available? What kind fo oil should a glider have in the hydraulic sysytem?

No, the "Glider" model isn't rare at all. I have a couple of them in my collection and I see them appear on e-Bay quite regularly. As such, they don't bring a lot of money. Parts are not a problem for those who understand what makes a Glider tick. As for the oil in the hydro system, you can use olive, peanut, corn or Canola.
