Hey Guys, can we start a new forum just for clones.

At least on this one the seller says it is "an earlier model JD made by MTD" what ever that means.:goodl:......:imnotlist

Looks like it is a very early model 318. :sidelaugh:sidelaugh:hide:

I like the push mower wheel on the back of the deck, gotta get me some of them.

Larry; I saw that one too. Had a good laugh. Some people just have no idea....

Unless it was the test model, you know like automotive companies do... disguise the actual look of the model when they send it out to be tested in real use. I doubt that is the case here.

Just so you all know south of the border... this is not a Canadian model 318. :D

can u still get parts for it? hahahaha
assuming this is craigslist ask the seller where he gets parts for it.:dunno:
And please, record the conversation!!!:sidelaugh

Any details, what is or was it?

Holder.
I tried to answer "A Holder" but somehow that did just not come out right. (o:
It was at my favorite place to go all summer. Pioneer Days in Irricana, Alberta.
Been going for more than 15 years and I plan my whole summer (on call, holidays, get togethers, etc) around that 1 weekend. It was only $2.00 to get in when I first started going and now it is $17.00 - that is how many years I have been there.

Big back wheels are the give away. Just had to have a JD but wouldn't part with his Case. Nice paint job all the same. What is parked behind it ?

No idea. Spotted it on a kijiji ad and knew it would fit here.

I thought of doing a Case/Deere frankentractor, but it would have had the case drivetrain in a Deere wrapper instead of something like this.

I sure hope no 318 was ever made by MTD!

How about another one? At least he is not trying to sell it.
That's for the guy who always wanted a 9000 series JD but didn't have the room to park it (or turn it around)

I'd love to have the mechanical/fabrication talent to do that to a couple of 332's

something is wrong in Denmark to
Hi Brorfusk, Canada is always glad to hear from you in Denmark. As much as I am a Ford man I must admit, John Deere has been setting the GT standard, consistently, for many many years and people just aspire to ride the Green and Yellow, even if they do not own one. Thanks for the pic.:fing32:
