This is how I'm going to grow my taters this year, does anybody have any tips or tricks to this process? Could I use just top soil? How many taters will one plastic trash can (30 gal or bigger) grow?

AAAwww!!!--Dang!--any idea what caused it?--weather? too dry/hot, etc? I didn't get to try it again this year because of the time and our moving process!(mighty slow)---Did get some late taters planted in the ground and in the hot dry year we had they did make a few! thanks; sonny

Some varieties don't do well in some areas!--around here Kennebeks (full season white) do well, also Red Norland (early), Red Pontiac (late)!---Next year I want to try it real early in the season at the new garden! --Last year I just used a wire cage and kept adding compost and water it every day to keep moist!--it acted like it could work! thanks; sonny
