Hi all, 2 weeks ago I bought a nice 2004 GT 5000 it had sat in the shed for a couple 3 yrs. and the mice made a cozy home in the engine cooling area. When I looked it over and drove it was fine then when I got home and drove it more and got it warmed up I smelled mouse. Removed the fan housing and cleaned all the debris out via blow gun and shop vac shot wd-40 on the rusty metal parts and all seemed good. Now we got 80*F + temps and about 88% humidity and it now smells as bad as ever ANY ideas whjat to tread / wash it with to remove the offending smell? Thanks

Hi Ericjr16, I used the GT5000 for about 1.5 hrs today and the mouse smell is gone got a whiff of the cleaner for about 45 min but that is by far better then then mouse smell. And the cleaner did good at getting the old grime off the engine and tractor.

I mix 50/50 bleach and water into a spray bottle for smells like that and set it to a fine mist and spray the area in question. I don't usually use it inside or on fabric. It should kill off things like hantavirus too. Male farm cats used to spray around my side door and it worked great on that too.

How true I never thought of that could have save the $7.00 I spent on the Super Clean.
