I just put my Quick Hitch on my 2305 and adjusted the sway turn buckles all the way in and it still seems to have alot of slop. I am thinking of cutting one of the bolts so they move in more to take out more slop. has anyone else noticed this problem and did you cut the bolt also?

Regards...Dave

My iMATCH went right on and it's pretty solid. The BB does sway slightly, but it's definitly not excessive. No bolt cutting required.

Hi Loogie,
Is your turn buckles tightened all the way up? Also how much sway is not excessive.
Dave

Mine has a bit of sway as well. The bolts are nearly bottomed out. It seems to work fine with the BB though, so I don't worry about it.

Mine shifts about 1/2" to either side.

Mine has about 1/2 inch sway with the quick hitch on it. slkpk

I believe the original intent of the anti sway bars was to keep the 3PH and whatever implement is swinging from it from crashing into the rear tires during transport. Once the implement is in the ground the sway bars are taken out of the picture. If your tires are free from attack then your sway is not excessive.

Correct, at least on large farm equiptment and I can't imagine it being any different on smaller stuff.

Yup, that amount of sway is about right.

Thanks for the explanation Agree, so the only attachment that is made to stay up as you use it is the BB and any extra sway from the BB shouldnt be bad enough to throw you around correct?

If it's throwing you around....your driving much to fast! :Stop: Even the BB when lowered is creating drag and will align itself.
