I'll add a pic later but has anyone had any issues on their old decks? My neighbor borrowed my lt 1000 which is less than 10 yrs old and the left side mandrel housing snapped at all three contact points. Machined steel!

the housings are cheaply made aluminum. i work on alot of these decks make sure u check the blade becuase those housings dont snap like that just out of the blue he hit something
well, whatever its made of the blades didnt seem that bad considering Ive used them all season. I half expected to see a broken blade. Was a real pain trying to remove it without the leverage added from the mandrel housing being bolted in place...
Save the old one when you replace it as you can re-use the bearings and shaft if need be.
