I don't think the pump would be of any concern to the additional torque. When you hit the relief valve setting, the work stops ......

I want to kick you in the shins and give you a hug all in the same stroke LOL. How did you find that. Im at my inlaws and all I did today was hide and search for that engine LOL. I have searched for v twin, 10,12,16,20,25hp engines, and the two Chinese engine manufactures.

any way I found a Lombardini 2cyl for about half of that. The one I found is a 850cc and the one you found me is a 870cc.

Here In Ontario, I've been keeping an eye on this one, 10HP From "Princess Auto"

Since we are asking about torque differences, do you guys think this Diesel would be a suitable replacement for a 14HP Kohler?

From what I found last night a 10hp diesel had close to the same power a 15hp gasser does.

Thanks BullDog. AND: I'll keep an eye on your re-power. When you get to the part where the pump hooks to the back of the motor, can you take a picture of it, I'd be very interested in seeing it.

Thats why I asked how the 10hp diesel matched up against the 16hp gas.

No, its not much more. Its an oversquare engine

I looked at the one on Bluejay. I would think you will be a whole lot happier with the Lombardini than a no-name motor.
