Custom seat for mower??

Although the rest of the tractor is so ugly, I've never wanted to be seen in one trying it at the store, the Snapper NXT has what looks to be a great seat:

I use metal pan seats from tractor supply.. padded seats are nice, but i like the lateral support of pan seats.. i always feel like i am falling off on sharp turns

Adjustable Lumbar, Adjustable Back Angle, Adjustable Arm Rests and adjustable for Operator Weight (suspension). Available at Northern Tool for $300 in black, you would need to fab your own mounting brackets.

Yeah it's what JD calls the "SE" seat (comes on the SE X700 models) it's made by Michigan Seat Company, the same company who makes the one that Northern Tool sells, the only difference is it's yellow, has a Deere logo and costs just under $100 more

That's a pretty nice seat. I don't know if I would pay $350 for a seat though... I could mount a Lazyboy recliner for that..

This seat replaced the Sears LT1000 one and it is a huge improvement in comfort. It is a little big but I dont care it is so comfy !!

MTD wanted $80 to buy the original replacement. I found this new in a boat shop and only paid about $25. It has worked just fine even in very cold weather.
