X485 for 800.00 ? Trigger Pulled !!

Yep, Couldnt pass it up. Needs a tail light, 4 new gauge wheels and a Radiator. All of which are ordered and on the way. Runs and drives great. Drove it on and off my trailer.

Its a one owner "lady" who never did any maintenance on it. The radiator has a crack on the back side. She had it up at the dealer the day i stopped in to get a Regulator for my 332 that caught fire. She was Irate and saying shes not spending a dime on what should be covered under warranty.

She got mad and walked out of the dealership saying that it will go back to her house and rot away to nothing before she spends a dime on it.

I asked her, "Would 800.00 bucks buy it from you as is?"

I got robbed! $4K for a X485 with 120 hrs.
sounds like she was selling her ex's toys.......

Here is the Radiator, I have it already pulled out. In between my fingers is a hairline crack in the plastic. This is on the back side, So when the tractor is going, Under pressure it sprays hot coolant out under the operators station. The lady said she couldn't figure out why it it smelled of antifreeze so bad. Ha !

Wow that is the deal of the year right there. Sorry DocG but he wins this one. Congrats Jared. I would frame that bill of sale so the cops will believe you.

Ha Ha ! Thanks guys. :) I should have the new radiator by Thursday. Cant wait to get it out and play some with it. This 62" deck i don't think it will fit in my shed out back. Might pull the girlfriends car outside so the new tractor can stay in the garage. lol Bet that would get me Cut Off in a hurry !

So what happens with the 332? You could turn the $800 expense into a profit while upgrading to a X485.

I have a few days till the radiator gets here, Gonna give it a much needed servicing. Any tips or suggestions on oil weight to go with ? Any other service tips i'm all ears.

So far i bought

oil filter.
Air filter.
2 spark plugs.

Wow and I was lamenting the fact I missed out on a $500 318 today. I need to set my sights a little higher. I have sold cars for cheaper than that. Talk about the right place, right time. Have you played the Powerball yet you are on a roll here you know?
