I decided that since the 318 hasn't sold yet I'd add some extra incentive (or find out I had work to do) by doing a compression test (new tools :fing32:) and putting the results up on the ebay advertisement. Now hour meter shows 947 hours on the 318 but this tractor had a B43 originally and I have no idea how long the P218 has been in it. So here's some eye candy:

Very nice. I cant see it real well, but it looks like ~120 on both cylinders. Great numbers. My B43g has 475 hours and I get right at 105/110. Top of the spec, according to my manuals.

My numbers are from when I purchased the tractor, I have since Seafoamed it.

Will have to see if there is any difference, but I would be surprised.

Mine was nowhere near the condition yours was in when I got it! Although I did not pull the heads I did just about everything else you could to my 318 to get it running correctly. The seafoam and changing plug wires really seemed to settle the engine out considerably!

K91, I put it on ebay! I just put it up for the 3rd time. I lowered the starting price and buy it now price this time around. Getting lot's of folks watching but haven't had a bid yet. It's in great mechanical shape and if I don't sell it this time around I will probably change out the Power Steering ram with the one on the 322 (leaking) and knock the price down some more!
