Does anyone have an orignal depth gage for the large frame tiller? I am sure I can make one but I would like to get it as close to original as I could.

I have one. I will try to get over to it (remote location) sometime before the weekend.

If I knew the lenght, width and thickness is all I would need to make one. A pic would be nice also. Thanks Doug

Beleive me if you have never used one of them they do work very well. Thanks guys.

forgot to check on the depth guage for ya... was busy working on the car all day. will try to remember tomorrow!

ok went out and took some pictures. i believe its the orig depth guage, still has some factory red paint on it. its made out of 1/2" thick steel. is 9" long overall, the center of the middle hole is 4.5" from the "long" end, each hole is 1" on center from the next. hope this helps!

That's what mine looks like for a Large Frame tiller.

Looking at your pic, looks like 1/2" holes and the width of the bar scales out to 1-1/2". So, 1/2x1-1/2x9 flat bar. cuts appear to be 30 degree angle?
I would almost bet those are 5/8" holes as that is what everything is on the LF. That looks to 2" x 9" x 1/2" flat bar. I know I got some flat bar in the shop so now I can make up 2 of them.

There half inch by what I know and the pics.

believe it is half in as well, - definately smaller holes and uses smaller pins than any of the other attachments and lift arms

The holes are the same dimension as the holes on the tiller that are used to hold the depth gauge.

My wife has told me my whole life I am never right, and she is right. The hole is 1/2". Its a good thing for me that she does not read these forums.

went out to recheck, the bar is 1 1/2" wide. the holes are centered so the bar can be reverses and the other end used.

its actually about 34".. by looking at the pics, just mark 1" down on one side and cut on that diagonal to the other tip.

g'luck, glad i could help, and post some pics of what u come up with!
