EZ, When I can find the photos, added a bracket with spring to the lift lever below the tractor. When the blower is down, the spring is under tension, and helps to lift. I mounted it to the frame, were the running boards and frame bolt together on the RH side. Looking to add a bit more next year to help, or find the setup you have, which is even better.
Coach, Tennessee, everyone thanks for the input. A spring assist sounds like a good idea. I noticed on some of the newer blowers have a spring on the opposite side of the lift arm. Coach can you get a pic. of your spring assist?

Well, payed for the lift to day. Its on its way. I don't really think I'll have a problem lifting the attachments but its always good to be ready. I've drug the old front blade out and have started modifying it to fit my tractor. I've got some dirt work to do this spring. That will be a good test for the electric lift, atleast on its ability to take shock load.

I was wondering what he was talking about, Hummmmm, I don't have one of those.

We may be talking about 2 different lifts. On the newer simplicities the deck is raised by either a lever or hydraulics. Conquest, Broadmore as examples a lever, while Prestige, Legacy use hydraulics. In addition there is a height of cut control. That is a totally separate mechanism and raises or lowers the rear roller on the floating deck. Now some of this is axiomatic, and for many need not be said, I understand I am just clarifying and asking a question.

Now I think on some older simplicities there was an electric lift for the deck/tiller/blower etc. I think EZ is trying to fabricate that older mechanism by giving his snow blower an electric lift.

Now the current electric height of cut motor looks similar, not exactly like EZ's new contraption. What we have here is a have convergence of old and new. I don't know EZ, does your Tractor have a rear roller on the deck?

Some of the gang with these olderTractors can advise here on their mechanisms.

On the newer models like the Conquest or Prestige the lever or the hydraulic lift for Deck/tiller/blower is really just one mechanism under the Tractor. So who has an older model with an electric lift for the deck/tiller/blower? they will have some better answers.

Great discussion, remmember the object here is to make life easier for EZ.:thThumbsU

If this doesn't work EZ, I recommend a Warn wench bolted to the Dash, powered by the tractor with the cable over the hood to the blower!:biglaugh:

Tennessee, What kinda simplicity would it be without the floating deck design.:fing32:

This Electric Lift is specifically designed for the 6200 series tractor. Although not very many were ever sold with this option. Thus making it a hard part to get. Along the same lines is the 1 point hitch I would like to find. But thats for another day.

I'll strap the wife to the hood, she can raise and lower the blower, lol And I'd have a great veiw,:trink40: Can I say that? don't ban me :Stop:

Right, that roller deck is the trademark!

I think you will get it bolted up just right! You could just bolt a rolling floor jack to the hood with the handle facing the seat for easy operation.

Put a chain down to the snow blower and hydraulically lift it up. It would work, just that appearance wise it may make you look a little crazy in the neighborhood!:banghead3

Finally an Orange Tractor :Orange_tr for the Tennessee Volunteers!

It would be the best of two world! She thinks I love my tractor more than her anyway so why not combine them.:Stop: Bad Idea. Then when I wanted the tractor to go left it would turn right. If I wanted the deck up it would go down. :fing20:

O well I'll stick with the electric lift I guess.
