Does anyone have this assembly? I would like to buy one. The nearest I've came is an ebay deal but I don't have 400. to spend. I don't care if its NOS or used or ? I need the mounting brackets more than any thing.

I think I have found the exact one I need! Man I've been looking for a couple of years. This is great! Its used and the guy said he knows it will lift the mower deck but doesn't know about the tiller and blower hummm. If Simplicity did something stupid like that I mite have to switch brands.

I hope that with the electric lift I can stop the lift at any point. Is this true, does anyone know?

Tennessee Jim, thank you for the response. I don't know what the "motor for the rear roller" is.
But if it stops anywhere in the lift/lower cycle thats perfect! The guy said, it will take a couple of weeks or so for him to be able to get to it. Which is fine by me, I am already wondering were to mount the switch. I don't think the dash mounting position would be very covenant. I was thinking along the lines of on the arm rest of the seat.
When mowing i won't use it that much but the tiller and the blower seem to require constant adjustment in height.

EZ the roller is the rear striping roller on the floating deck. Your schematic looks a lot like it. It has a small electic motor and a screw mechanism that raises the deck height level. Now on the newer ones this does not "raise the Deck" for transport. That is done by the large hand lever or hydraulics depending on the model. I don't know how yours is set up but those tillers and blowers are pretty heavy, I don't if that motor can do it, or where you would hook it up. You guys with those vintage tractors will no better!

The dash mite be ok, but I don't want it out of arms reach when I'm sitting in the seat comfortable. The dash is to far away and I already go through my legs for the tract o matic and gears. i should look at where they are mounting the lift buttons on the new tractors. Boy thats what the new tractors have over the old stuff, creature comforts.

Here's my first glim's of the electric lift! I won't have the $$ until Thursday but then its mine!:drunkie: I hope it can lift as much as I can with the arm lift. Guess I'll have one of them for sale.

Ok started thinking about the charging system with an electric lift. I think I should look into a car battery and is there anyway too upgrade my 3amp charging system to a 5 or what could it be?

I think in the winter when I'm running the lift and 2x35 watts front lights and 55 watts rear light. It would be killing the battery. What do you guys think?:woohoo1:

Your at 10 amps right now. And that is without the lift. The lift is a big draw but its momentary as well. I would think you could change the stator in your motor. It may burn out from working so hard or it may go forever. Just shut it all down before you park it and let it run for a minute to charge back up. Or you could just put it on the charger or wire in a trickle charger. I think they offer a 15 amp system. Most motors have a 3 or 15 amp that I ahve seen. Not sure if thats the norm or not. There are people on the site that have a lot more expertise on parts interchangeability then me. Your lift should be more then enough power! They lift the 38" hd tiller and that sucker weighs a ton!

Look up the specs for your motor and go from there. Nix your 55 watt and get the spendy led lites, they are more money but not as much work as removing and redoing the stator. The 2 headlites at 35 watts each is 5.83 amps. The one 55 wat lite is 4.583 amps I think the led is 1.2 amps? So with 1 led you are down to 7 amps total. A net savings of 3 plus amps. Not ideal but its much less a load. You could also consider a larger battery to help. This is another reason I like the sovereign class machine. 15 amps of charging bliss baby! I guess some of the newer stuff is still 3 amps and 20 amps now...

well lucky U burntime. Maybe someday I'll grow up and have a sovereign, lol. I know the car battery is in the works anyway. Extra rear weight and more cranking power, Hummmm should have did the car battery to start with.
(get it start with)? I'm a funny funny man!

I would change out the 55 watt and give it a try. I know at one point I had 2 55watt, 2 35watt, and the spout rotator which is right at 15 amps without the spout rotator. I just ran back to the garage with no lights and let it run low throttle for 30 seconds to a minute. I have a 500cca battery in it as well. Heck, maybe a second battery for winter and just put it on a charger may be the answer. How long is it really running when you snowthrow? Might be a practical solution.

You are smart on this EZ, you will like the electric lift. It looks pretty stout. Burntime is right on all that stuff, he knows it. I agree that the lift is momentary so lights could dim,big deal. With those low draw LED's that would help. But a few more amps and bigger battery would make life easier. Keep t all fully charged with battery charger or trickle.

Remmeber alternators/generators really don't charge a battery, they just maintain the charge while running the engine. Starting an engine with a real dead battery can burn up an alternator or generator. You may slip by, but best practice is to have it all at full charge before the snow blowing begins.

That is gonna be a slick set-up. If it will lift a tiller should lift that blower as well, they are both heavy. Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One other thought EZ, I had that Conquest that had a spring assist for lifting the tiller. Now you would think that a spring would not make that much difference. But I tried to lift the tiller without the spring and could not budge it off the ground. Put the spring on dial the tension right, easy up.

Looking at your new contraption seems it might lend itself to a spring assist as well. You could experiment with it but it may take a big load off that electric mechanism. It won't be any problem going down of course. Gets help from gravity!:fing20:

But the up, now that's a different story; a spring from the lift arm to Tractor frame may pay off. You would have to play around with it. experiment:14_6_5:

oops that didn't work:lalala:

EZ, When I can find the photos, added a bracket with spring to the lift lever below the tractor. When the blower is down, the spring is under tension, and helps to lift. I mounted it to the frame, were the running boards and frame bolt together on the RH side. Looking to add a bit more next year to help, or find the setup you have, which is even better.

Neat, so if you use the electric lift EZ, and the Spring, (like Coach John has tried) you could have the best of all worlds:fing32:

A fast easy powered lift:dancingpa:dancingpa

Now when you are done..................... it should look like this!!!! :praying:
