First I assembled and installed the cab. I then moved on to a dome light, work lights, heater, aux altenator, wiper, electric spout actuator, fenders and a horn.
The first image shows the altenator and the 40 amp maxi fuse holder located above the starter that supplies power for the cab fuse box. The fuse box is mounted below the heater box in image three and has four circuits. Image two shows the additional regulator that is necessary for the aux alt. Image four shows the heater/fuse box/switch box assembly prior to mounting.

The work lights are 55 watt halogen's with a trapizoid pattern. The wires are shrink wrapped and terminated to Weather Pack connectors as shown in image one. Image two shows the harness coming through grommets inside the cab. The dome light is an interior\exterior light that uses a standard 1156 bulb and lights up the cab perfectly. The cab harness is covered in wire loom and runs above the top panel and down the left side pillar to the switch box. The harness then comes out of the box, behind the heater to the fuse box. The last image shows the contents of the curtis heater.

I plan on removing the cab in the summer so I tried to make a little easier. I installed dry breaks in the heater lines. For the electrical I would just have to remove the main feed from the starter and disconnect one weather pack for the spout control. I ran the spout control wires through vacuum hose which is routed along the blower lines to the hydro connectors where it is connected to a sub harness with a weather pack. The spout actuator switch is located in the switch box on the right side.

Very nice work and I like the quick disconnects on the heater hose. slkpk

A couple of night shots. Put away after a litte bit of work. And a closer look at the switch panel. Heater switch to left, work lights in the middle and spout control on right.

Wow! That is really nice. Great work.

BTW - nice Porsche, ..., and the 4 car garage/barn/whatever looks great too.

I've got a X748, WE, 54" blower, minivan, other minivan, and 2.5 car garage I'm willing to trade.:thThumbsU
:thanku: for sharing.

Oh, never mind the trade. I need the 2nd minivan :fing32:

Nice job using the hobby plastic box for the control switches and like previously mentioned, heater qwik connects are great. I love that cab/machine/blower combo and your garage looks stunning!

Is that a vent on top of the heater and can you point the flow at the windshield? If so that is perfect!
Really nice job on everything!:trink40:

Thanks for the compliments.
Rob, I believe the ID is 1/2". However the fitting provided by curtis on the supply side is choked to 3/8". As you know these heaters really work well. After about fifteen minutes I turn it off, then low, then off again. It almost works to good. I left out the provided water valve. Instead I will install an automotive style valve to regulate the temperature.
PEONY, yes the vent points to the windshield but the airflow is partially diverted by the windshield latch. But it still hits the window and does a good job of clearing it so far. All three vents were aimed left so I removed and installed them to move the air towards the center and the window.
Frank, they are Petersons. I bought them online for $18.00 each. I can post the website Monday. They came with stainless screws for the lens and I used stainless bolts for mounting.
Mhussy, I was going to fabricate a panel to mount overhead but in my case I use the spout control often and this location feels natural and the hobby box just seemed right.
