Hey everyone. New to tractor forum. I've had a 96 Snapper lawn tractor for awhile and recently acquired a Lawn Chief rider that I may use to swap the motor into the Snapper. I'll keep everyone posted and I'll be doubly sure to ask a lot of questions.

What size engine does your Snapper have?
I was recently surprised to hear and feel the struggle of my 12.5Hp B&S hacking its way through some kind of fast spreading 'grass? that's taking over our neighborhood.

me and my dad rolled up to my fiances' and future inlaws' house (with my new (old) snapper rer in the bed of my truck) where my bride to be and her mom were having a yard sale. i was proud of my new mower and suggested they take a look at it to which my future mother-in-law replies "is that thing a lawn mower?" (laughs)
