Well, just got off a 30 minute call to MTD.... and they are shipping me all the new braces and everything for my '09 hood. The first girl I talked to didn't have a clue, apparently they haven't updated their exploded diagrams, all she showed was the '09. Then she transferred me to tech support.
I explained my situation to the guy at tech support, informed him my hood has already been replaced once, and I've saw what's been done on the new hoods. I stated there is a tech advisory and is sending out a "kit" which contains everything I should need. Should be here in about a week.
