Still plays with tractors
I'm looking at a Craftsman YT 3000 for my daughter and her husband to use at their home. Small level yard in Ohio. He's not used to owning equipment. Very smart guy, just not used to being around these things. Trying to find out if these have any problems that I should look for. This one looks well cared for in the pics. I guess it was owned by an older couple who recently gave up their home (yeah, I know, but it really looks good). Anyway, it comes with the 42" deck and bagging system for $575. As stated, their yard is level but also pretty bumpy if that makes any difference. The price doesn't seem too bad but I don't want to get into something that's going to keep me driving out to Ohio from PA for repairs. I tried this with a Cub Cadet but the thing has been an absolute piece of junk and is presently not running again. SIL is happy pushing a mower but really has no time to do so anymore so I figured something with a bagger would really reduce his time mowing in the fall. Anyone own one of these? Good or stay away?
