12 inches of snow on the way! Wahoo! I finally get to use the plow, and partially justify all the effort of loading the tires, putting on the chains, and the expense of wheel weight$$.:trink40:

Send some this way. I haven't bothered with installing the snowblower on my SS18 since there was no need for it this year. I keep hoping that attitude will bring tons of snow, but it hasn't. Maybe I need to pretend I'd be upset to install it in the snow, or something.
i can understand your need to use the equipment , lots of money and time invested just to sit there and not be used, but myself this winter has been a blessing so far as i really dont like the cold and snow in my old age...glad you guys have to chance to get out and play
What is this snow thing your talking about?:dunno::howdy:
i'm roughly 25 miles west of Boston, we got snow, about 4 in. so for at

AM on mar 1st. still snowing may get 6-8". further north 8-12"
I'm torn between picking up a 15hp tractor with mowing deck for next to nothing, or a 12hp tractor with a 42 inch snow plow, for the same price. Each in working condition. I can only have one, but can't justify either one based upon this years 'storm' history. :thSick:
It has been raining here since supper time yesterday, and I see nothing that indicates anything but rain for the next couple hours. Then it's over, the 'storm' that is.
Next 'storm' coming this weekend is more rain. :crybaby:

Disgustedly I went out last night and tossed some stove ash on my Southeast sloping driveway. No snow this morning, at least I am trying to conserve fuel!
I have about 5" so far in the northeast part of Massachusetts. This will be the first time this year to use my Honda/snowblower! Yay
I think we got a solid 10 or 11" here. I've been out blowing twice and it's still snowing.
You know none of us will believe you guys until the :wwp: requirement is met!!!!!

About 11"-12" here and still snowing lightly. I'm 11 miles from the coast, about 5 miles over Mass line.

Got about 1 hour seat time earlier, then another 20 "clean up" minutes a couple hours ago. I'll probably go out again in the am for a few. I'm lovin' this snowblower-on-a-tractor thing! :fing32:

Glad you finally got a chance to get in some good seat time to test out your new toy Haulin. I have used my rig about a dozen times so far this winter and lovin every minute of it.

Rain again here on L.I. We only received one plowable snow this winter. I did'nt even bother to mount the blowers, or chains on the other tractors. And even that did'nt bring any snow.

This has been a surprise, especially after being hammered the last two winters. I had almost thought that it was the return of the winters of the '60s.

Enjoy it up there in NE!

PA...I posted pics of 'my' snow. Just couldn't see anything 'cause noting was there. If the 'raw northeast wind' could be seen, you'd see me huddling up against the roaring wood stove. But then again, my wood stove refuses to cooperate when the wind is out of the NE. As does my camera, when there is noting to show.

Steve, well you had to wait patiently to have some real fun! Impressive amount of snow for sure and looks like the Craftsman handled it well, gotta love a cab! Thank your wife for the great action shots!
Here's my video, man did I have fun! My favorite part starts at around 2:20 till the end, that's when I get to the untouched snow, which is about 5-6" of dry snow on top of 4-5 inches of old wet snow.

Thanks for the video. Boy, that looked like perfect snow for blowing, and your machine just ate it up!
