Yanmar 1500 d

I have a 1500D. I have a question about this steering part. When the wheels are straight forward, should the part be aimed straight down?

The drag rod assembly #21 part H194191-16103 that I bought from Hoye tractor parts is too long that they sent me.

If your Yanmar is a 4-digit model, post in the CUT section, there are many YM1500 people over there.

If your YM is a 3-digit 1XX series, post in this SCUT section. Not much activity in this SCUT section for Yanmar and rarely gets your questions answered.

Hop over to the CUT. YM1300 thru YM7000 are answered over there.
