The real reason that farmers are not purchasing equipment is commodity prices. Prices for wheat, corn, and soybeans are now almost lower than the cost of production. Two years ago wheat was about $8.50 bushel and now only about $4.00. Same for corn & soybeans. Until farmers can make a profit, they won't be buying new equipment. But twenty year old low hour used tractors are going for high prices on auctions, which might be partly due to the fact that they don't have computers. Al
I know what you are saying, I'm a shooter too. Prices have been high since late 2012. Rimfire took quite a hit.I can't afford to support two industries. My $ have been going to support the arms race, ammo.
