XT3 Wheel weights and manual

2381 Views 7 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  GFAZIO1959
Hello all! I just bought a new XT3 GS yesterday and need to locate wheel weights and a service manual. My local dealer says that neither is available for this model.

I assume Cub doesn't want people installing wheel weights and they don't offer them anymore. If anybody can point me in the right direction for the weights with part number I would appreciate it!

Thank you

Congrats on the new Cub, keep us updated as I just ordered one myself.

There is a lot of useful information in the Cub threads here, you have to sift through them. Here's a couple that may help you: https://www.mytractorforum.com/19-cub-cadet-forum/1326209-question-xt3-owners-3.html & https://www.mytractorforum.com/19-c...ow-many-xt3-owners-out-there-post-pic-22.html .

Can't help you on wheel weights but Cub does offer suitcase weights https://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/...sories/suitcase-weights-190-390-100/accessory & https://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/...essories/weight-bracket-190-307-100/accessory on their accessories pages which you've probably already checked out. Good luck.

Your Local Sears Store, Hardware or Home town store Can order wheel weights which will work On Your Cub. I run Deere wheel weights On My Cub's Just because that's what I have But these will work https://www.sears.com/craftsman-55-...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1 or these https://www.sears.com/craftsman-qui...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2 :thThumbsU

Thanks all.

Through some searching I found OEM-190-784 should work. Cub lists them to fit the PRO 100 L/S zero turns and they use the same rear rim as the XT3.
Thanks all.

Congrats on the new Cub. Here is an option if you cant find wheel weights. I had the dealer fill mine with rim guard (essentially beet juice) and it added 100 pounds per tire.

Congratulations on the XT3, they're solid machines!
A little update: Finally quit raining and got to mow the yard. This thing is a beast compared to my old LT1018! Over half of my property is sloped and I had no need for wheel weights and no issues with spinning. It did take a while to get used to the dual pedal hydrostat control.

I'll probably just purchase the rear weight / bracket for snow plowing the driveway.

Did these wheel weights end up fitting the tire?
